Veggies & Free range birds
Sticking to the roots of what brought us here, we grow a wide array of crops, all things that we love to eat and cook with. Additionally, we have a happy flock of free-range hens that produce eggs, and we raise heritage breed turkeys available for purchase at the holidays.

Plant Starts
Everything we grow on our farm is started from seed, and we want to share this with our community of home gardeners! Each spring we sell starts. All starts are grown with OMRI approved, organic potting soil and amendments. Almost all of the varieties we grow have been tested on our farm as we grow them, too. They are adapted to our growing environment. Click here to check out what starts and tubers we’ll have available this year.

Flowers & Dahlia Tubers
Melissa has a love affair with growing flowers. It was never something that we intended to grow, but the color, vibrancy, and texture bring so much joy. They nurture the spirit. An eight-week flower CSA is offered from mid July to early September. For more information, click here. Additionally, organically produced dahlia tubers are available in the spring for purchase.
Vegetable production is what originally drew us to farming here on the Western Slope. We wanted to grow enough food to feed ourselves year round on land that we owned, and so that is what we did! The Cedaredge area is historically an apple growing region, but we've found that it is a sweet spot for growing veggies, too. Our farm is located on a gentle, southwest-facing slope that allows for optimal sunshine and beautiful production of many of our favorite crops which has grown to include flowers. Additionally, we grow in two hoophouses which provide passive solar energy and the option to produce cold-tolerant crops year-round.
Our farm has become so much more than just what we grow in our field! We have a small flock of happy free-range hens that lay eggs of just about every color of the rainbow, and we now also are the loving home of three Nubian/Alpine-cross goats - Mama Hope, Grace, and Althea.
