enjoy fresh flowers (almost) all year long!

what is a csa?

CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture.  In this farming and distribution model, farm patrons and friends purchase a “share” that equates to a weekly bouquet subscription for the duration of the designated season.  Originating in Japan in the 1960s, the women who pioneered this model were looking for an alternative to the pesticide-heavy, industrial farming that had replaced the small, family farm.

2025 will be our ninth season of offering a CSA program at our farm.  Currently we offer three different Flower CSAs - Spring Bulb CSA, Summer Mixed Bouquet CSA, and Fall Dahlia CSA. (Limited shares of our bundled FlorAbundance CSA are also available.)

While many farms have moved away from the term “CSA” to call this a flower “subscription” or “membership”, we stand strongly by the descriptor “CSA” as we feel that this most accurately captures what it is we are offering.  While, yes, it IS a subscription, and it IS a membership, more than anything these “shares” represent our community buying into and supporting local agriculture.  We absolutely love being a CSA farm.

our flower CSAs
